Once the R:BASE and QuickBooks databases are connected, data synchronization
options include inserting
new records from a QuickBooks table and/or updating
existing R:BASE records.

Column Mapping is used to link the tables, which compares the
column values for the synchronization
process. If the tables
columns are identical, the "Autodetect" button will automatically
link the tables by
common column names. If the column names do not
match, then select the column names which are
to be mapped for
synchronization and use the "Map" button to establish the link.

Before a database is synchronized, the database must be optimized using
the R:BASE Database
Preparation Tool.

During the synchronization process, a progress dialog is displayed.
